Family Memorial Etchings LLC, and graniteimaging.com are currently the only authorized companies that offer the patented G.L.A.S.S. Art process (Granite, Lasered, Augmented, Silicated and Sealed). The Glass Art process was developed specifically for the monument industry to provide the brightest, most colorful and long lasting images for any type/color of granite.

This process uses high powered lasers to literally melt the granite into a form of glass. Solid black granite is not required for the final product where sharp, colorful detailed images are now available. The imaging is engraved deep into the stone; dramatically increasing its durability in virtually any environment.

Although the majority of our business is with the monument industry, a significant aspect has been for architectural applications. Any application utilizing granite is appropriate use of the Glass Art process.

On all work, including both Glass Art and Conventional Laser Etchings, we will provide a proof before etching and the utmost care will be placed into insuring you are given the best quality in your end product. We strive to always exceed the your expectations and we always stand behind our work.

The Patented Glass Art process is most suitable for outdoor applications where bright, sharp and colorful images are engraved directly into any type of granite or other stone, and longevity is required. The imaging is only as durable as the stone it is engraved into; making granite the best material to use.
